Matson has advised that the Hawaii Fuel Surcharge will be increasing from 16.5% to 20.5% effective April 12, 2026. Matson provides 30 day advance notice for increases, while passing decreases through immediately.
Matson has announced the Fuel Surcharge for Hawaii will be reduced from 18% to 16.5% effective Sunday, September 14, 2025. Matson makes a practice of giving 30 days notice for upward rate adjustments but passes along decreases as soon as possible.
