After increasing the fuel surcharge approximately six months ago, Matson announced a decrease in the fuel surcharge effective this Sunday. Very welcome news. The surcharge will decrease 3.5% points to 40%. We will implement the savings on all shipments that we receive after 3/17/13.
The vessel that left Long Beach on this past Wednesday is due to arrive late in Honolulu. It experienced a generator problem in transit that will delay its arrival until Monday morning around 0630. Most deliveries on Oahu will likely be delayed until Tuesday.

Matson Navigation announced an increase to the fuel surcharge effective October 7. The increase will bump the surcharge up to 43.5%.
